Beatpace for Tredict
Your Tredict workouts,as music.
Connect Tredict and Beatpace builds original running music around your plan: each planned session becomes a mix where every block holds its own exact cadence. Warm-up, work, recovery, cool-down, each at the tempo the session asks for.

Why Beatpace
The plan is done. The music never heard about it.
Beatpace builds original running music where the workout structure is inside the audio. Each session becomes one continuous mix: every block holds its own exact BPM, matched to your cadence, and the tempo shifts land on the block boundary. Not a playlist, not your streaming library rearranged. Music written to hold a tempo, because your legs follow the beat whether you ask them to or not.
Locked, not -ish.
Every block holds its exact BPM for its exact length. Your nervous system locks footstrike to a beat without asking you, so a track that drifts a few BPM by the chorus moves your cadence with it. Near the beat is worse than off it.
A steady beat that never drops out.
Built for entrainment, not for the dance floor: no build-and-drop arcs, no half-tempo bridges, no breakdown in the middle of a threshold block. When fatigue starts to degrade your form late in a session, the beat is still there to hold your turnover.
The music is the cue.
When the block changes, the beat changes: you hear the next rep start without looking at your wrist. Add transition beeps or a voice that counts you in, or nothing at all. Your choice, per run, and it never changes the mix underneath.
What Tredict is
Planning and analysis, the European way.
Tredict is manufacturer-independent training planning and analysis for endurance sport, run from a German data center, with a German-language version at tredict.de.
If you plan there, your trainings already carry everything a mix needs: how long each step is, how hard it is, and how many times it repeats. Beatpace reads that and builds the music around it. You keep planning in Tredict. Nothing moves.
What Beatpace reads
What comes across.
Your planned-trainings list, each training's Garmin-style step structure behind it, and the max heart rate in Tredict's capacity data. Beatpace looks ten days ahead and keeps your next three planned sessions built, so there is a mix waiting the evening before. The plan is read every evening around 9 pm your local time, on every Garmin watch sync, and whenever you press Sync plan now in Settings. Change a training after its mix is built and it is rebuilt in place; the old mix stays playable until the new one is ready. Tredict sends dates in UTC with your timezone offset and Beatpace resolves your local day, so a late-evening session never lands on the wrong date.
From a step to a block.
4:00 4 minutes
The step's duration is the block's length. No rounding to the nearest song.
HEART_RATE · bpm against your max
A bpm target is read against the real max heart rate Tredict holds for you: under 80% is Recovery, up to 92% is Work, above that is Push.
SPEED · POWER · intensity
Tredict resolves a heart rate for most steps, pace and power steps included, and that figure is what bands them. Absolute speed and watts are printed in the block text. A step with no heart rate takes its band from its intensity: WARMUP, COOLDOWN, INTERVAL or RECOVERY.
7200 m at 2.78 m/s 43:12
Distance steps are converted to time at the speed Tredict resolves for the step, the same figure Tredict shows you. An OPEN step takes whatever the session total leaves over, so the mix ends when the training does.
Repeat 4 times
A plain repeat around an interval and a recovery becomes one repetition block; anything more involved is unrolled into sequential blocks. A repeat conditioned on time or distance, until 20 minutes or until 5 km, has no fixed count and runs once.
Cadence
Follows the effort from your base SPM set in Settings. A cadence target on the step wins. On a ride it is your base RPM plus an offset per effort.
On a Garmin, those three queued sessions are part of your watch's sync set without saving anything. The watch downloads them when it is charging and on Wi-Fi, or sooner if you open Beatpace on the watch and press Sync.
Honest limits
What does not translate.
Swimming and misc stay on the calendar.
Running and cycling build mixes. Swimming and Tredict's misc sessions, meaning strength, mobility and stretching, show as planned days in Beatpace with no mix, and take no queue slot.
Repeat until time or distance runs once.
Tredict's "repeat 4 times" expands to four rounds. A repeat that ends on elapsed time, distance or heart rate carries a threshold instead of a count, so Beatpace builds one pass of it rather than guessing how many you will get through.
Ramps become one block.
A step that climbs from one target to another is read at its midpoint and built as one steady block. The range is printed in the block text; the music does not ramp.
Open steps next to distance steps.
An open-ended step is normally filled from the session total. When the same session also has distance steps, that total cannot be split honestly, so the open step gets a default length by type instead.

FAQ
What is Beatpace?
Beatpace builds original running music with the workout structure inside the audio: each planned session becomes one continuous mix where every block holds its own exact BPM, matched to your cadence. It plays in any browser or natively on a music-capable Garmin, with no phone.
Do I need a paid Tredict account?
Any Tredict account with planned trainings in it works. Beatpace connects to it and reads what Tredict shares.
Does Beatpace write anything back to Tredict?
No. Beatpace reads your planned trainings and your max heart rate. Nothing is created, changed or marked as done in Tredict.
Do I need to carry my phone?
Not on a supported Garmin: the mix runs natively on the watch with Bluetooth headphones. Without a watch, every mix plays in any modern phone browser with the screen locked.
Does this change my training plan?
No. Beatpace only reads your planned sessions. Nothing is written back, and your platform stays the source of truth.
What if I have no plan today?
Forever Radio: set one tempo, pick a Sound, press play, and the music keeps coming as long as you do. Free accounts get 20 minutes a day, Pro is unlimited.
Which platforms are supported?
intervals.icu, AI Endurance, TrainerDay, Tredict. Want yours next? Tell us.
What happens if I disconnect?
Beatpace deletes the stored access tokens and your athlete id for that platform, stops reading the plan, and clears the sessions it queued from it. Mixes you pinned or saved yourself stay. You can also revoke Beatpace from inside the platform.

From the founder
I'm a long-distance runner. I built Beatpace because I couldn't find music that matched my workouts, not just my mood. Cycling instructors picked it up first, since they live and die by BPM. Now it's looping back to the audience I built it for.
